Be part of the back to ‘slow’ movement and come and join me, local Calligraphy Artist and accredited Teacher for a relaxing day in the beautiful Gallery space at Three Storeys, Nailsworth. Using a square edged nib and ink you will explore the beautiful and timeless ‘Foundation Hand’ calligraphy lettering, created by Edward Johnston for his students at the Royal Academy of Arts. Johnston who designed the London Underground typography was the ‘godfather’ of Western calligraphy.
