I have been running Art Workshops for adults and children since 1992.  I work with schools, art centres, heritage sites and galleries.  Contact me should you want a public or private workshop.

In 2010 I was awarded the Rivington Travel Scholarship in order to visit the International Calligraphy biannual exhibition in Moscow.  I went specifically to see giant Eastern calligraphy, as this has influenced my art work for many years.  The range and depth of calligraphy work from around the world was truly inspiring.  I knew I had to become a calligraphy Master, so began the long journey with the Society of Scribes and Illuminators, London.  I have now completed the Advanced Training Scheme and am still learning.

Dance and movement have long been a passion of mine.  I am interested in a few brush marks bringing to life the form of a dancer.

This work celebrates the power of plants and the energy and vitality of Spring.  I was inspired by a young researcher who found a plant that the local tribes of the Amazon jungle use as an anaesthetic.

Sacred sites and stones found in the island of Jersey reminding us of the scratch our lifetimes are on the vast continuum of time on earth.  Each site offering artefacts that hint at multiple possibilities of secret stories.  Was Jersey on the trade route North from Spain, or was it merely a rocky outcrop with excellent view points to spy unwanted travellers?

The rhythm and colours in the natural forms of landscape are a continuing source of inspiration to me.
